Energy Personal Leadership Index (E.L.I.)


E.L.I. is a one-of-a-kind assessment that enables you to examine your perceptions, attitudes, behaviors, and awareness of when your energy serves you and when it could serve you better. This tool gives you deeper insight into where along the energy spectrum your thoughts hang out. Then you can see how that energy affects your energy, outlook, relationships, communication...your life!

The insight you'll gain from the E.L.I. assessment and debrief will positively change the way you view your world. You will clearly see where you are empowering or limiting yourself with your thoughts, emotions, and actions that only you can change.

E.L.I. Is an Attitudinal Assessment

The E.L.I. is an attitudinal assessment, which is based on an energy/action model. This assessment differs from personality assessments such as Meyer Briggs and D.I.S.C. which are very valuable tools that pinpoint and label certain personality types for better understanding of strengths and weaknesses of each type

Instead, the E.L.I. measures your level of energy based on you attitude, or perception and perspective of your world. Because attitude is subjective, it can be altered. By working with your coach or therapist, using the E.L.I. you can permanently change your attitude and perspective, make a shift in your consciousness, and increase your energy and effectiveness.

Assessment Administration and Debrief Process

When you sign up to take the assessment, you will be sent an email from the assessment center of the Institute for Professional Coaching. The email will provide you with a link to take the assessment online at your leisure. It contains 70 or more questions and will take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes to complete. Your assessment report will be sent to your coach to schedule a debrief of your report that will take about an hour.

As part of the Energy Leadership Index assessment and debrief process, you will receive a personalized report, learn about the 7 levels of energy and how much energy you currently have in the catabolic- suppressing range and the anabolic-inspirational range. You'll be briefed on the findings of the assessment, and coached on how to recognize and alter your energy toward more positive and supportive levels.

Energy Leadership Index Workshop

Energy Leadership Workshop - 90 minutes

Energy Leadership™ is the process that develops the personally effective style of leadership that positively influences and changes not only yourself, but those with whom you work and interact, as well as your organization as a whole.

This program is designed to help participants re-focus their attention, beliefs, and perceptions so they may support their success as opposed to inhibiting it. Participants will discover the real causes of the stress and feelings of being overwhelmed at work and reduce or eliminate the related impact.

Learning to tap into the energy of success which will enable them to lead through inspiration and motivation and create opportunities and solutions consistently.

Participants will also learn how to shift from focusing on problems and fighting by proactively creating solutions and leading their teams to do the same. The goal is to recreate and envision the ideal image of each participant's role as a leader within their organization.
